Data Centers Are Coming to NC-10. Pat Harrigan Says It's Not a Problem.

Data centers are being built across NC-10 while residents find out after the deals are signed. My opponent, Pat Harrigan, says it's not a problem. Tonight, there's a Yadkinville Board of Commissioners meeting at 6 p.m. at the Town Hall. I wanted to be there because I know a lot of residents are concerned about the data center that was basically paid for and planned before anyone in the public ever knew about it. However, we have another event tonight (Chill Nitro in downtown Winston-Salem, 5-9 p.m.), so a couple of our team members will be attending in Yadkinville on my behalf. They will have a flyer that gives more info about why data centers don't belong in our communities. The second page is pretty wordy, but the info on the first page is reason enough to give pause. You can see the flyer here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DeHhmjhEf9N/ WHERE PAT HARRIGAN STANDS My opponent, Pat Harrigan, has skirted around the issue as much as he can, but his stance comes down to two things: - He votes with Trump policies 100% of the time, and Trump LOVES data centers (and thinks you're broke and stupid if you don't agree). - He doesn't think they're an issue right now. That alone shows how out of touch he is with NC-10, which has become a prime target for data center developers, and has had at least seven major disputes that made the news over the last two years, spanning the entire district. In this video, you can see Harrigan went on C-SPAN last month and listened to his colleague, Congressman Whitesides (D-CA), talk about people's concerns about data centers and lay out the case against them issue by issue. Harrigan then blew those concerns off and deflected with word salad.
